You might want to try plugging it into different USB ports and see if that works. I have upgraded the phone to 2.0.2, but after going through the complete process I am having couple of major issues.. Firstly iTunes is not able to detect the iPhone. Secondly, I am not able to get any mobile coverage on the Phone (unable to make or receive calls, sms, or data, but the wireless works).
