February 7, 2008
February 7th marks a new start on the Chinese calendar, and it will be the year of the mouse — or rat if you prefer (the ambiguity stems from the chinese word é¼ which means both rat and mouse). I’d like to extend my greetings of well wishes and prosperity beyond my family and friends to the readers of my blog too
. I had fun sending out a mass email with a design I was working on the past few days:
If you’re looking for some literature to read on the Chinese New Year, the article on wikipedia has a lot of info. It’s kind of fun to read which zodiacs are compatible/conflicting, what the year of the mouse will bring, and some of the superstitions.

perhaps too late for the comment but, Happy Chinese New Year to you too! That’s cute rat
