The other day I ran into an old friend who activates cellphones as part of their job. As the conversation went on, I expressed my plans to import an iPhone if it did not see daylight in Canada. However, they informed me that they received notice that the iPhone could be coming to Canada as soon as January of next year. This was exciting news, but we’ve seen rumors circulate about this before. Regardless, I’m going to put some faith in this source of mine because it’s starting to sound like the possibility of the iPhone being available for use in Canada isn’t so farfetched.

Photomerge: One-step Panoramas

In June, I shared a method of easily stitching together multiple photos to generate a panorama using two new features in Adobe Photoshop CS3; Auto-Align and Auto-Blend.

There is a much more simpler way to do this thanks to Morris Ginberg who commented on the post and suggested using the updated Photomerge feature. It seems using Photomerge in Photoshop CS3 does the exact same thing as using Auto-Align and Auto-Blend, but does it all for you in one step.



Then came along an actual fix by Steve Miner. This fix isn’t for the lighthearted though as it directly modifies a system file. To make your menubar opaque, all you need to do is run the following command in terminal…

Utilizing Spaces in Leopard

Within the 300+ (I think this number is exaggerated) new features included in Leopard, Spaces is something I’m trying hard to implement into my workflow.
