		<description>Renting a hybrid never occurred to me, not a bad idea. 

It is true that the current hybrids don&#039;t really have a huge margin on fuel savings, but the margins are still significant enough for me to consider one. The fuel economy is much better than our current car (fueleconomy.gov estimates its annual fuel costs to be around $2300).

But as I&#039;ve mentioned, we&#039;re going to wait it out. The 2008 Prius is said to have even better fuel economy and even sport a solar panel on the top to help recharge the battery.

This technology should just keep getting better with time.</description>
