iMac Vector Resource

I Bought a Mac recently held a logo contest where the winner would win an Apple TV. Unfortunately my submission didn’t rally enough votes, but the winning logo by Christopher Ware definitely deserved the win. Its design is simple and gets the point of the site across well. Congratulations Christopher!

Since only the winning logo had to release rights, my logo is still free for use. However, I don’t really have a use for the illustration I created, so I felt someone else might be able to make better use of it. I am releasing my “Happy iMac” submission free for download. If you plan to use it, if possible, kindly please give me some recognition for my efforts and provide a link back to goSammy.com :)

Thanks for the kind words about my logo design. I really appreciate it. There were tons of great entries for the contest, and I’m sure the judges had a pretty difficult time making a final selection.

I think it is great idea for you to share your entry with the world. I’m sure plenty of people will find all sorts of uses for it.

Thats a fine Adobe® Photoshop® and Illustator® Software composition… (diggs been having too much fun because of that Adobe® article)

either way, i like it a lot (i rec it make a fancy pretty icon if you were to make the iMac a little more contrast at smaller pixel sizes

pretty stuff

It’s a nice idea, but I’m not really planning to invest anymore time tweaking this graphic, thus I released it as a resource to play with. You might want to pay attention to this forum post on Macthemes to see if possibly one of the talented icon artists there will turn this into an icon.
