The MacBook Pro (will be abbreviated as MBP from this point on) is a fine laptop, pairing it up with a 20"(or greater) Cinema Display would be sweet!

Hopefully they include the adapter to hook up an external display in the MBP if you purchase it. It'd be a hassle if Apple didn't.

I'm not sure if a refurbished MBP would save you thousands of dollars though, probably hundreds at most. 'Tis a good way to save though.

Sam, great purchase. I'm looking at getting a MacBook Pro 17" myself together with a 20"(or bigger) cinema display to connect to while at home. One of my friends showed me the refurbd MAC site a few days ago, literally saves ya thousands of dollars. But I suppose Future Shop could be comparable. Anyways - you're a mac geek!
