Two weeks…and counting

My goodness, it’s been over two weeks since I’ve touched my blog. I’ve been keeping busy with a lot of things and I’m starting to find it difficult to get my act together.

Come November 11, more life will be injected into this blog and hopefully by the end of this month I will finally overhaul Senmu Studios as I have the website I created from over two years ago sitting there. I’m getting motivated to update that site because recently I started a Google AdWords campaign about my services and got one email from a local Calgarian to create a website for their business! I was surprised the campaign even worked, these ads appear worldwide in Google whenever you search up one of the keywords I assigned. I figured I’d try out this service from Google since GoDaddy gave me a $25 credit for it when I signed up for their web hosting/domain service.

I’m also volunteering to create a website for the Ogden House in Calgary. I figured I could help them out when I spotted their call for help on the CPSC intranet site.

Besides that fun work, it’s been hard finding free time as assignments and midterms are coming by. I can’t wait until the 11th as Reading Days (some time off!) will begin.

Also to note, I just submitted my blog late yesterday to CSS Reboot. CSS Reboot is another one of those showcase sites and as a result, I will have to revamp the look of this blog come next May ‘07 (hopefully even more spectacular looking). I’m surprised that I’ve already gotten 30+ hits from just that site. If you have a nice lookin’ site, go ahead and submit it to CSS Reboot, you’ll get a little more deserved exposure
