Globalfest Fireworks - Canada
Tonight I went to go see the Globalfest Fireworks at Elliston Park. I didn’t feel like forking over $15 to buy a ticket so I took the free route by standing outside the fences and parked my tripod and got ready to take some photos of some fireworks.
Overall I took 79 photos but a ton of them were crummy shots because I was playing around a lot with the different settings on my rebel to see if I could come up with some creative shots besides the other photos I took of fireworks I took in the past. I wanted to upload 11 of my best shots from tonight on Flickr, but my uploading limit exceeded for this month, so you will have to wait for next month for the rest of the photos to be uploaded.
I was pleased with some of the new types of shots I created. In the three below you could see that I was able to play with the settings enough to have the colors overlap so you could see some of the trails of the previous firework underneath the more recent one which makes it look like the tip is colored. Pretty neat.
Stay tuned…
