iBook G4 RAM Upgrade
Today after work I came home to find this box sitting on my desk:
I ordered a 1GB stick of RAM from TigerDirect.ca last week and it finally arrived! As mentioned in the title, this RAM upgrade was for my iBook which originally had a mere 384mb of RAM. Since I’ve installed it, I can feel the performance boost as OSX is more zippier, especially when more applications are simultaneously running. Definitely worth the $160. Now time to get my rebate!

After getting a ram upgrade on my mac, it turned into a beast!!

Everything just runs so much more smoothly now, applications load quicker, my iBook boots up quicker, switching between applications is instantaneous!
Now it’s time to see how it holds up when I load the mother of all applications…Adobe Photoshop CS
